The articles you see below are part of a blog. The writers’ opinions are their own. As with any blog, the most recent articles appear at the top, and nine more below it. When a new article is written, the 10th article disappears from the home page and is only available in the archives. To find the permanent location of any blog article, click the headline, and you will be taken to the full article, in its permanent home. This is the page you want to link to, from outside.
We have both “static” pages (that don’t change often) and blog pages (or “posts”). The “Pages” are the first navigation you see on the right, the blog posts appear, by category below. When blog posts are written, they are given one or more categories, so they may appear on more than one Blog Category page. The Blog Category pages are just indexes to past articles.
The “Pages” that appear under “Navigation”, on the other hand, are guides to local resources and informational pages. They may link to one or many other pages inside and outside NevadaCounty.com. They also may have indexes to related blog articles… if a Page has been defined to have the same category as a group of blog posts, you can find both “Page” content and “Blog” content in one location.
The Magic of Blogs:
The magic of blogs is that they accumulate. So, before long, we have hundreds of pages about a variety of subjects. As mentioned before, they will be contributed by several authors.
